Personal v. Expository Writing

My name is Frodley Louis, this is my second year here at Nassau and I'm pushing to be a mentor to the youth within my community as well as an philosopher if you will. I'm mainly into music or books or anything that relates to elevated thinking that can open the eyes of the blinded youth and better their future. I believe most in the political movement of famous people like Tupac Shakur and Socrates the philosopher because i honestly can relate to their points of view on society and I try to reflect that through my actions. At the end of the day I value my family and friends that are real, honest and sincere, nature because people who are true are hard to find now a days. In order for me to have a good life i would have to have a good education, keep God first and hopefully see the age twenty five because where I'm from it is not too often you see that age in one piece and without a police record. Unlike everyone else who might sing, dance, rap, play sports and write, the one thing i know i can do to the best of my abilities is being myself and that includes being a honest, logical, laid back, funny but straight forward person.

Family

They say nothing in this world is free except for Jesus and family. Based off my short span of nineteen years I can honestly say that family is there through the good times and bad times. When friends fail and you have no one to turn to, home is your best bet if you are looking for any type of help. Marriage goes hand in hand with the concept of family because in that situation your the father figure, man of the house or the mother or caregiver within your household. Now you get to walk in the shoes of the person who cared for you for your children. Also you have a spouse who vowed to be there for you through all ups and downs. Money is a beautiful asset but it can not feel up the empty space of loneliness that family takes up. I honestly don't feel take money can cheer you up or give advice or even shoulder a load and hear you out like a family member can. Perfect example is "Family Matters" . The moral of the show is to show the importance of family in the best as well as worst situations. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBrQ6VEsQPA&NR=1
